All choirs are currently preparing for our summer concert in July, so there are no trial sessions taking place for new choristers right now. If you would like to arrange a trial class in the new school year, please contact Louise at louise@berlinchildrenschoir.com

On Easter Sunday the Berlin Children’s Choir made their TV debut on the popular children’s programme Die Sendung mit der Maus.
Last summer the children were filmed singing in the Tiergarten. They did a wonderful rendition of Are you sleeping?, Bruder Jakob and Frere Jacques for the film makers (who were very impressed with the children’s professional behaviour and concentration.)
Children aged three and a half to 9 years of age were involved.

The choir segment begins at 12 minutes, and the children appear at 19 minutes.
Meeting Royalty in 2023!
Children from all choirs were invited to the British Embassy and then the ‘meet and greet’ at the Brandenburger Tor when the King and Queen of England visited Berlin. The children were some of the first Berliners that the Queen met and spoke to, which was very exciting for everyone!
The Queen was accompanied by Ms Büdenbender, who also spoke to the children.
Queen Camilla has a special interest in children’s early music education, and was happy to have the children at the front of the crowd.
Photos in the Berliner Morgenpost, the Süddeutschen Zeitung and even the London Times featured choir children waving flags (German and British) while waiting to meet the Queen.
